Introduction: To evaluate the Knowledge and attitude towards precision attachment as a treatment modality in partially edentulous patients amongst dental practitioners in Belagavi city.

Methodology: The survey was conducted using the online questionnaire form with 18 questions. The questionnaire was divided into three parts: demographic details, knowledge and attitude. The questions were further divided into two parts. The first questions were to assess the knowledge; second part questions were to assess the attitude towards precision attachment as a treatment modality. The study sample consisted of a total of 156 dental practitioners.

Result: On statistical analysis there was a statistically significant correlation observed among the under-graduates and post-graduates practitioner towards precision attachments as a treatment option in partial edentulous patients. (p<0.05)

Conclusion: Study concluded that the dental practitioner with master's degree held higher Knowledge and attitude towards precision attachments as a treatment option in partial edentulous patients. A proper emphasis on improving the knowledge regarding the subject is of utmost importance amongst the dental practitioner.
