Introduction: Maxillofacial rehabilitation warrants complicated techniques to achieve both functionally and esthetically satisfactory outcomes. Conventional technique to restore maxillofacial defects is through manual impression making and fabrication involves multiple steps like recording of jaw relation, trial of the prosthesis and then fabrication. With the advent of digital technologies, rapid progress has been made in the fabrication of maxillofacial prosthesis.
Methodology: Literature search has been conducted with different keywords to review the process of digital methods used in maxillofacial prosthesis.
Conclusion: Digital workflow has a phenomenal effect on the methods of fabrication. This review paper is an attempt to describe in detail the digital process.
